Eberechi And The Christmas Goat

Image
Hello, Eberechi loved animals. She loved to watch them play, feed them, and pet them. She especially loved the goat that her father had brought home for Christmas. She named him Olu, and they became best friends. Every day, Eberechi would wake up early and run to the backyard, where Olu was tied to a tree. She would bring him some grass, water, and fruits, and talk to him in her sweet voice. Olu would bleat happily and nuzzle her hand. Eberechi would hug him and tell him stories. She did not know that her father had bought Olu for a different purpose. He planned to slaughter him on Christmas Eve and cook him for the family feast. He thought that Eberechi was too young to understand, and that she would forget about Olu once she saw the delicious meat and the other gifts he had bought for her. But Eberechi was not stupid. She had overheard her father talking to her mother about his plans. She was shocked and heartbroken. She could not bear the thought of losing her friend, or eating...

Why Camera Men/Women Do Not Fall During Church Service

Image
"Why Camera men/women do not fall during church service" It was a Sunday morning and the church was packed with worshippers. The pastor was preaching with passion and power, and the congregation was responding with shouts of "Amen" and "Hallelujah". The atmosphere was electric and the spirit was moving. Suddenly, the pastor raised his voice and said, "There is someone here who needs a miracle today. God is about to touch you and heal you from your sickness. Come forward and receive your blessing!" As soon as he said that, a wave of people rushed to the altar, eager to get a touch from God. Some of them fell to the ground as they felt the power of God in their bodies. Others cried, laughed, or spoke in tongues. The pastor moved among them, laying his hands on them and praying for them. The camera men and women who were filming the service for the live broadcast were busy capturing the scenes of the miracle service. They zoomed in on the faces of ...

The Kidnapped Girl

Image
Chidi was a commercial driver who plied the Enugu-Onitsha road every day. He had a small bus that could carry up to 14 passengers, and he charged a fair price for his service. He was a friendly and honest man who loved his job and his family. One day, as he was driving back to Enugu after dropping off his last set of passengers in Onitsha, he saw a young girl running towards his bus. She was wearing a torn school uniform and had bruises and cuts on her face and arms. She looked terrified and desperate. "Please, help me, sir. They kidnapped me. They want to sell me. Please, take me home," she cried as she reached his bus. Chidi was shocked and confused. He quickly opened the door and let her in. He asked her who kidnapped her and where she came from. She told him that she was a student of St. Mary's Secondary School in Enugu, and that she was on her way home from school when a group of men in a black van grabbed her and threw her inside. They drove for hours, beating and...

The Story

Image
The story: Chidi was bored of his classes. He hated math, science, and English. He only liked playing football with his friends during recess. He wished he could skip school and go to the nearby park, where he could have fun and forget about his troubles. One day, he decided to do just that. He waited until the teacher was busy writing on the board, and then he sneaked out of the classroom. He ran across the school compound, hoping no one would notice him. He reached the gate and saw that the security guard was asleep in his chair. He quickly opened the gate and slipped out. He felt a surge of excitement and freedom. He ran towards the park, which was only a few blocks away. He didn't care about the homework, the tests, or the punishments. He just wanted to enjoy himself for once. He reached the park and saw that it was empty. He smiled and ran towards the swings. He jumped on one and started to swing back and forth. He felt the wind in his hair and the sun on his face. He close...

Image
The Dog and the Meat There was once a dog named Bingo who lived with a woman in a small village. Bingo loved meat, but his owner rarely gave him any. She only fed him scraps of vegetables and grains, which he hated. One day, the woman cooked a big pot of soup with meat and left it on the fire to simmer. She went out to the market to buy some spices and other ingredients. Bingo smelled the delicious aroma of the soup and his mouth watered. He could not resist the temptation and jumped on the pot. He grabbed a large piece of meat with his teeth and ran away. The woman came back from the market and saw the pot empty. She was furious and looked around for Bingo. She saw him running away with the meat in his mouth. She screamed and chased after him, shouting for help. "Thief! Thief! Help me catch this dog! He stole my meat!" she cried. The villagers heard her and joined the chase. They ran after Bingo with sticks and stones, trying to hit him. Bingo was scared and ran faster. ...

Emeka And His Football Team Last March

Image
Here is a story I wrote based on the title “Emeka And His Football Team Last March” in primary school competition. I hope you like it. Emeka And His Football Team Last March Emeka loved football more than anything else. He played every day with his friends at school and at home. He dreamed of becoming a professional footballer like his idol, Ahmed Musa, who played for the Nigerian national team and Leicester City in England. Emeka was the captain of his school’s football team, the Green Eagles. They had been practicing hard for the upcoming primary school competition, which was held every year in March. Emeka wanted to lead his team to victory and make his school proud. The competition was very tough. There were 16 teams from different schools in Port Harcourt, and they had to play in a knockout format. The Green Eagles won their first match against the Blue Sharks by 2-0, thanks to Emeka’s two goals. They also beat the Red Lions by 3-1 in the second round, with Emeka scoring one...
