 The story:



Chidi was bored of his classes. He hated math, science, and English. He only liked playing football with his friends during recess. He wished he could skip school and go to the nearby park, where he could have fun and forget about his troubles.

One day, he decided to do just that. He waited until the teacher was busy writing on the board, and then he sneaked out of the classroom. He ran across the school compound, hoping no one would notice him. He reached the gate and saw that the security guard was asleep in his chair. He quickly opened the gate and slipped out.

He felt a surge of excitement and freedom. He ran towards the park, which was only a few blocks away. He didn't care about the homework, the tests, or the punishments. He just wanted to enjoy himself for once.

He reached the park and saw that it was empty. He smiled and ran towards the swings. He jumped on one and started to swing back and forth. He felt the wind in his hair and the sun on his face. He closed his eyes and imagined he was flying.

He didn't hear the gunshots. He didn't see the masked men. He didn't feel the bullet that hit him in the chest.

He was dead before he hit the ground.



The park was the scene of a robbery gone wrong. A gang of armed robbers had tried to rob a bank nearby, but they were confronted by the police. They exchanged fire and fled towards the park, where they hoped to escape. They didn't care about the innocent bystanders. They didn't care about the young boy who was playing on the swings.

They only cared about themselves.
