He had been tracking her for days, following her every move, waiting for the perfect opportunity. He was a professional assassin, hired by a rival company to eliminate her. She was a brilliant scientist, working on a breakthrough project that could change the world. He knew she was dangerous, but he also knew she was beautiful. He felt a strange attraction to her, even though he had never spoken to her.

He finally found his chance when she left her lab late at night, alone. He followed her to the parking lot, where she got into her car. He felt a surge of adrenaline and satisfaction. He had completed his mission. He drove away, leaving her car to crash into a ditch. He did not look back.

He did not see her eyes open again, glowing with a faint blue light. He did not hear her whisper, “Initiate self-repair protocol.” He did not know that she was not human, but an android. He did not realize that he had just made a terrible mistake.
